This demonstrates the use of the VRML 2.0
External Authoring Interface (EAI)
to join Java applets and VRML worlds together, in a two-way interface.
To run this demo, you need:
- Netscape's Navigator 3.01 running on Win95 or NT
- SGI's Cosmo Player 1.0 beta 3a
- The following Java classes:
vrml.external.Browser
vrml.external.Node
vrml.external.field.*
vrml.external.exception.*
netscape.javascript.JSObject
netscape.plugin.Plugin
Note: In low memory conditions, this demo may hang.
If it does, close some other windows and reload the demo.
Specs, references and notes on how EAI works.
Crude, but hopefully helpful...
Wait for it to load, click on a body part, then use the buttons to move the part around.
