Common Object Request Broker Architecture is the Object Management Group's (OMG) architecture for interchangeable, plugin objects. This is built on existing System Object Model (SOM) and Distributed SOM (DSOM) technologies.

CILabs' OpenDoc is a CORBA implementation adopted Sun, Apple and IBM.
