Introduction

This document describes some of the requirements, procedures, products and services involved in accessing the internet.

Overview

Since you are reading this document, you probably have some sort of internet access already. Perhaps you are using someone else's setup, or are using a unix or mac workstation and wish to migrate to MS Windows. Or perhaps you are interested in enhancing your existing MS Windows setup.

Hopefully, this document will contain some useful info and pointers for you.

The first thing you need is a machine with MS Windows installed, a TCP stack and some sort of physical access to the internet. That access may be via a LAN or serial telephone line. You will also need a TCP interface and some internet software.
